Slashy Potter
I compiled these last year when OoTP first came out. Below the cut are canon quotes from Harry Potter that screams slash. Honestly there's no way HP is a children's book.
PS: And brownine points goes to anyone who can tell me where each quote comes from (what book and scene, etc). It's amazing what the mind can do when you take it into the gutter. =P
"Potter, you can skin Malfoy's shrivelfig," said Snape, giving Harry the look of loathing he always reserved just for him.

Malfoy was on all fours, banging the ground with his fist.

Wondering what Malfoy was going to show them, Harry and Ron sat down, doing there best to look at home.
He thrust it under Ron's nose. 'That'll give you a laugh,' he said.
Harry saw Ron's eyes widen in shock.

'Harry, Harry, Harry,' said Lockhart, reaching out and grasping his shoulder. 'I understand. Natural to want a bit more once you've had that first taste.'

'I DON'T BELIEVE IT!' Hermione screamed.
Lupin let go of Black and turned to her. She had raised herself off the floor, and was pointing at Lupin, wild-eyed. 'You--you--'
'Hermione--'

'I didn't tell anyone!' Hermione shrieked. 'I've been covering up for you--'

"I'm not complaining or anything" - he got gingerly to his feet, rubbing his backside - "but I'm aching all over."

‘Make it move,’ he whined at his father.

Then he turned to look at Ron, who was watching him almost nervously, as though waiting for his opinion.
'It's a bit small,' said Ron quickly.

Mr Weasley had thrown himself at Mr Malfoy, knocking him backwards into a bookshelf.

‘There’s – got – to – be – a – short – cut,’ Ron panted.

‘Oh, how silly we’ve all been!’ Malfoy sneered. ‘We should have stroked them! Why didn’t we guess!’

As Professor Lupin came in and made to close the door behind him, Snape said, ‘Leave it open, Lupin. I’d rather not witness this.’

Snape set the smoking goblet down, his eyes wandering between Harry and Lupin.
‘I was just showing Harry my Grindylow,’ said Lupin pleasantly.

(Mr. Ollivander) It's in fine condition... you treat it regularly?
'Polished it last night,' said Cedric, grinning.

He waited, every fibre of his being hoping, praying... if it hadn't worked... if it wasn't coming...

It was over in two breathless, desperate, windswept seconds - Harry's fingers closed around the tiny, struggling ball - Malfoy's fingernails scrabbled the back of Harry's hand hopelessly.

'You think you're such a big man, Potter,' said Malfoy, advancing now, Crabbe and Goyle flanking him. 'You wait. I'll have you.'

"A lot of wizards think it's a waste of time, knowing this sort of Muggle trick," said Fred, "but we feel they're skills worth learning, even if they are a bit slow."

He was as deeply immersed in the OWL paper as ever, which left Harry free to sit down on the grass between the beech and the bushes and watch the foursome under the tree.

Harry slit open the scroll as he hurried toward them and found five words in Sirius’s handwriting: Today, same time, same place.
